To give you some more insight into my offensive game plan for a Multiple Spread Offense I am including my week one offensive game plan.

It was a pretty simple game plan for that week. The best play of the game was a Trips Bubble Lightning that our QB completed to a wide open receiver for a 50+ yd touchdown. We had run Trips Bubble Screen three times for gains of over 8 yds. every attempt.

Here is a HUDL breakdown of the playbook plays drawn up against the 3-4 defense that we saw. Offensively we did struggle some against blitz pressure. When we later walked through it we realize that we hadn't done a good job of explaining what calls and adjustments our line needed to make if they blitzed. It was a good reminder that to really run a play effectively everyone has to know how to rules apply to every situation. Teach them the rules, not just to memorize who they are supposed to block and you will see far more success! In my playbook breakdown I have included all player rules – not just who to block!
